HEATEN is decarbonising industrial processes with its high-temperature heat pumps, which can replace boilers that run on fossil fuels. Electrification is crucially important, as 65% of industrial CO₂ emissions come from burning fossil fuels. One HBL 4 HeatBooster eliminates around 1000–3000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions every year.

The HeatBooster from HEATEN achieves output temperatures of up to 200°C (water) and supplies steam directly at pressures up to 10 bar(a). That makes it different to conventional high-temperature heat pumps, which usually supply process heat up to 90°C for heating buildings. One HBL4 HeatBooster eliminates around 1000–3000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions every year. It has been developed specifically for demanding industrial process heat requirements and is used in multiple sectors.

The HeatBooster saves on energy and costs by harnessing waste heat and driving down CO₂ emissions. It will usually pay for itself within about 2 to 4 years. Its excellent efficiency (COP > 50% of the Carnot Limit) will help to minimise power consumption, lower running costs and boost your company’s competitiveness and eco credentials.

Yes, the HeatBooster is extremely scalable. The industrial heat pumps from HEATEN achieve 1 to 10 MW_th per heat pump. Systems delivering up to 50 MW_th can also be created by cascading the heat pumps or installing them in parallel. This modularity gives you the opportunity to build flexible solutions for plants of any size.
